Setup
LanP3 can run on any machine that can run Windows XP and takes very little CPU processing. It can be run on a server, as well any users work computer. It is your choice, as long as it has a soundcard and some speakers your are good to go.
To make best use of LanP3, access to the Internet from the LanP3 machine is recommended.
Credits
Everyone can access the LanP3 Web tool and select tracks to play.
With a Credits System, individuals get a set of Credits assigned to them, which prevents one person from dominating the music.
Music
LanP3 Admin runs in your System Tray, and is where you can browse and include directories of audio (mp3, m4a, wav and other).
We highly recommend
GarageBand for getting your hands on some really good music.
AutoPlay
Another great aspect is the AutoPlay. You do not have to spend any time selecting a track at all (which doesn't take much time), but you can let LanP3 select and play tracks for you.
