Release History

This install will overwrite your previously installed LanP3 Database.
You will need to add your settings, folders again in Settings.

1. Added: A volume setting has been added on Admin.
2. Added: Based on consistent feedback, default Credits per user after Installation changed to 5 (was 3)
3. Added: You can now Stop the Current Media Indexing cycle.
4. Added: Setting for fading a Track before the next track plays, with on/off option -Mix Fade
5. Added: Notifications for songs now alert, with on/off setting
6. Added: A request is made to the LanP3 web when loading, to "wake up" the session. Makes the web more responsive when first navigating to it.
7. Fixed: Switching regional setting from en-GB and en-US (and vice versa) when LanP3 is running should not now cause a problem
8. Fixed: SQLReader errors
9. Fixed: LanP3 shuts down when codec errors, or trial period for codec (3vix) is shown via popup window.
10.Fixed: Typos in 1 or more tooltips
11.Fixed: Album Art retrieved has been optimized to reduce network traffic
12.Fixed: Clicking Back button on Admin Queue Box (1st tab), when more than 1 item was in the Q, it would fail with invalid cast.
13:Changed: Forcing AutoPlay to select a different track (by clicking the forward button on the AutoPlay screen), now changed to not marking that skipped song as 'Played'. Previous behaviour was that the track was marked as played.
14:Added: AutoPlay can now recommend based on similar Genre or Mix of Genre. Option on AutoPlay tab.

	

	

Windows 2003 Server Notes

There have been reports of LanP3 not installing SQLExpress if the full version SQL 2005 is installed.
You should therefore install the SQLExpress Version side by side. (Please make sure you don't break your server.)

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU INSTALL THIS ON A NON CRITICAL MACHINE. IT IS YOUR CHOICE, BUT THINGS DO GO WRONG AND UNFORESEEN THINGS CAN OCCUR. PLEASE AT LEAST BACKUP YOUR DATA. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY LOSS WHATSOEVER.

With that said though, we don’t expect any problems.
