Release History

This install will overwrite your previously installed LanP3 Database.
You will need to add your settings, folders again in Settings.

1. Fixed: Adding a Folder to Indexing and clicking cancel, still added the folder to the list.
2. Fixed/changed: Album listings in LanP3 Web was changed to not show duplicate albums by Artists, mainly for compilations
3. More Exception handling added.
4. Added: LanP3 will prompt you to remove invalid folders (that could have been deleted outside of LanP3)
5. More checks where added to folders, isValid Folder URI?, Folder Exists?, duplicate?
6. Fixed: If LanP3 errored during a Settings Save, the Load would not display certain options (depending on which ones where removed)
Especially applied to AutoPlay Settings Trackbar.
7. Updated version Numbers for Assemblies to correctly reflect the intended versions.
8. Added Prompts/Confirm Dialogs to Index All, and Stop (Monitoring)
9. Added: Show Unknown Sections on Web Setting to show/hide them on LanP3 web.
10. Added: Slider Setting for Indexing Speed. You can now control the rate at which the Indexing occurs.
11. Indexing Status and other messages now shown on Admin Form status bar.
12. The Icon Tray Menu is now also shown on the Form in the StatusBar
13. Server Status link added to footer on LanP3 Web, which shows the version and a few other settings.
14. Enhanced: Typing http://servername:1300 is equavalent to http://servername:1300/LanP3
15. Fixed: You could add tracks from Unknown Items to the Queue without having a Name set.
16: Fixed: Disabled Index All (renamed to Index Now), to disable if scanning
17. Introduced advertising banner at the bottom of the web application.





Windows 2003 Server Notes

There have been reports of LanP3 not installing SQLExpress if the full version SQL 2005 is installed.
You should therefore install the SQLExpress Version side by side. (Please make sure you don't break your server.)

FOR ANY LOSS WHATSOEVER.

With that said though, we don’t expect any problems.
